Rahul Dravid Appointed As Team India Head Coach Till 2023 !

Former Indian skipper Rahul Dravid is appointed as the next head coach of Team India till 2023. The 48-year-old who played 164 test matches 344 ODIs and one T20 for India in a career that spanned over 16 years earned himself the nickname 'the wall' for his consistency and dependability.The former Indian captain is also considered one of the best gentlemen to have played the game. While this is the first time Dravid will be in charge of coaching the senior team, he is not a stranger to the job. He currently heads the National Cricket Academy in Bengaluru. Dravid’s first assignment as Team India coach will be India’s home series against New Zealand which will start three days after the T20 World Cup ends. His contract will run till the end of the 50-over World Cup in 2023. His contract is reportedly worth Rs 10 crore.
