Some days are indeed special for the entire world. Similar is World Animal Day, as it gives us the ultimate message of humanity. A day like this can be a good reminder of our responsibility towards animals. It is also known as ‘Animal Lovers Day’ as it encourages love, care, affection and protection of animals through the involvement of individuals and organisations who work for the rights of animals. Our wildlife and birds are an indispensable part of nature as they play a crucial role in environment protection and human well-being. All the creatures in an ecosystem co-exist so that a healthy ecological balance can be maintained in nature. Some species aid in extraction of nutrients from the cycle, while others hasten decomposition and the carbon and nitrogen cycles.Initially, the theme of World Animal Day was "Man and Dog." Later, in the coming years, it was about all animals and the celebration of the human relationship with the better animal kingdom to protect animals and create a safe environment for them.
