Big conspiracy to make Assam an Islamic State !

Protest against Assam Governemnt , is a part of the Big conspiracy of making Assam an Islamic State, oft-quoted as the policy of Lebensraum by several Bangladeshi academics and political leaders on numerous occasions. In the post-Independence era, this thought process has received academic and moral support from an entire network of self-proclaimed “intellectuals”, journalists, writers, public speakers, and a few lawyers and human rights activists. SATRA is a special indigenous social institutional centre, mainly associated with the Ekaharana tradition of Vaishnavism in the state of Assam. Earlier, Asom Satra Mahasabha (ASM), an umbrella organisation of monasteries, some 7,000 bighas (2,804 acres) or 85% of land belonging to 39 satras is under encroachment by illegal migrants. As per the Brahma Committee Report, this number is far higher. It had clearly mentioned that the identity of as many as 18 Sattras in Assam is under threat, following large-scale encroachment by illegal Bangladeshi migrants. Among the worst-affected ones are the Ram-Rai Kuti Sattrasal Sattra in Dhubri, Rampur Sattra in Nagaon, Adi-Alengi Sattra, Barpeta Sattra, Kobaikata and Alipukhuri Sattras in Morigaon district, and a few more. What recently happened at Gorukhuti was nothing but only a small glimpse of the growing political and financial clout of the infiltrators/encroachers. Land is their primary target and will continue to remain ever so. While the BJP-led alliance has vowed to protect the jaati-maati-bheti of the Assamese people, the infiltrators are hell-bent on wiping out all traces of this same jaati-maati-bheti every single day.
