Atal Bihari Vajpayee's third death anniversary

Today is the third death anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.From being an orator to being a poet, Vajpayee stretched out his horizons as wide as he could. Known as 'the man of the masses', Vajpayee was a man of "multi-faceted personality". The country saw good governance for the first time under Atal ji’s prime ministerial tenure. While on one hand he did developmental works like Sarva Shiksha Abhiyan, PM Gram Sadak Yojana, National Highway Development Project, on the other hand he laid the foundation of a strong India with Pokhran trial and the victory in Kargil. Assam Chief Minister Dr. Himanata Biswa Sarma tweeted, "A towering statesman, an erudite parliamentarian, a gifted poet and an orator par excellence, Swargiya Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ji was one of India’s finest Prime Ministers who ushered in a new era of development.I bow in reverence to the ‘Ajatshatru’ on his death anniversary".
