Delhi AIIMS: First hospital with fire station inside campus

Dr Randeep Guleria, Director, AIIMS Delhi said that All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Delhi has become the first hospital in India to have a fire station inside the hospital premises. The fire station, meant for quick response in case of a fire emergency, will have its infrastructure developed by the AIIMS, while the fire tender, equipment, and manpower will be managed by Delhi Fire Services (DFS). Delhi Fire Service (DFS) Director Atul Garg also announced that All India Institute of Medical Sciences has become the first hospital in the country to house a fire station on its campus, terming it a "proud moment".
