PM Modi fulfils promise, eats ice cream with PV Sindhu

Today Prime Minister Narendra Modi fulfilled his promise and ate ice cream with two-time Olympic medalist PV Sindhu.Back in July when the PM had a video interaction with many Tokyo-bound Indian athletes, he had spoken about how Sindhu was barred from having ice cream before the Rio Olympics. During the interaction, Modi had promised star Indian shuttler PV Sindhu that he will have ice cream with her once she returns from Tokyo. And the promise was fulfilled as an image surfaced online where the PM was seen having ice cream with Sindhu - who bagged a bronze medal at Tokyo as India produced its best-ever show at an Olympic event. India recorded its best-ever medal haul at the recently concluded Olympics by bagging a total of seven medals - one Gold, two silver, and four bronze.
