Bus Workers Stage Protest Against latest SOP at ISBT, Guwahati

Today, Several private buses' employees staged protests against the latest revised COVID-19 Standard Operating Protocols(SOP) at the Interstate Bus Terminus(ISBT), Guwahati. Already The inter-district movement has badly hit their income avenue. The latest revised SOP also kept unaltered the inter-district movement of passenger vehicles within Assam, which upset the private buses' employees including drivers and handymen. Meanwhile, Inter-District movement of private vehicles and movement of people will be allowed except to and from Kamrup(Metro) District. Their demand is that the Chief Minister should announce the removal of the suspension.
