In its first 100 days, the Assam Goverment has taken several key decisions. These include addressing Covid -19 challenges, war against drugs & human traffacking, introduction of the Cattle Preservation Bill, increment of Orunodoi scheme, implemention of the Tenancy Act, etc . Based on the philosophy of "Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas aur Sabka Prayas", the Government has smoothly engaged with People of Assam. It has prioritised the handling of the COVID-19 Pandemic. On the other hand, in its first 100 days, the Assam Police has made great strides in demolishing the massive infrastructure that has always been facilitating the supply of drugs and narcotics. Drugs worth Rs. 183 crore were seized and more than 1,760 people were arrested. Delivering on their poll promise, this Government also passed the Assam Cattle Preservation Act, 2021, besides the increment of Orunodoi, which have been some of the significant achievments of the BJP Goverment in Assam. The assistance under Orunodoi has been increased from Rs. 830 to Rs. 1,000 per month, besides the addition of 6.38 lakh new beneficiaries. Assam has become the first State in India to pass the Model Tenancy Act that provides a framework for resolving disputes between tenants and landlords.
