shortly all 84,000 ‘Divyangjans’ in Tripura to get UDID cards. Pratima Bhoumik, union minister of state for Social Justice and Empowerment informed that the government has taken initiative to distribute UDID cards among 84,000 ‘Divangyanjans’ across the state. UDID certificates and helping aids were also distributed to ‘Divangyanjans’ at the program held at Agartala Town Hall. She requested Prime Minister Narendra Modi to enroll Tripura's name in UDID card schemes, which would help them to get facilities across the country.
