India airlifted 392 persons from Kabul in an operation that covered Indian citizens as well as Afghan nationals, including two minority MPs, Narinder Singh Khalsa and Anarkali Kaur Honaryar. Air India and Indigo operated two flights via Tajikistan and Qatar. Apart from workers and engineers employed at various India-backed projects, the evacuees included an infant, Iknoor Singh, the youngest to be airlifted from Kabul so far. In a video message Minority MPs, Anarkali Kaur Honaryar said," I thank the government of India, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the Ministry of External Affairs and the Indian Air Force for lifting us from Kabul and saving my life". Other Minority MP Narendra Singh Khalsa said," All achievements of the last 20 years in Afghanistan have been lost. Nothing is left. Everything is finished".
