Manipur govt launches livelihood scheme for COVID affected families

In Manipur, Chief Minister N. Biren Singh's COVID-19 Affected Livelihood Support Scheme was launched to provide assistance to those who had severely affected the COVID-19 pandemic. Speaking at the event, the Chief Minister stated that the State Government had been working sincerely intending to uplift the poor and weaker sections of Manipur. It may be mentioned that the Chief Minister's COVID-19 Affected Livelihood Support Scheme aims to provide Rs 5,000 in two equal instalments (Rs. 2,500 per instalment) to every identified family whose livelihood has been severely affected by the pandemic.
