Operation Devi Shakti': India evacuates more than 800 people

India gave a name to its operation to evacuate its citizens from war-torn Afghanistan. Indian External affairs Minister S Jaishankar called it 'Operation Devi Shakti' and saluted the efforts of Indian Air Force and Air India. India has evacuated over 800 people amid a deteriorating security situation in Kabul and scramble by various nations to rescue their citizens. India continued its ‘Operation Devi Shakti’, under which Indians and foreign nationals are being evacuated from Afghanistan following the Taliban’s takeover of the nation.
