Pema Khandu govt announces 11 pc hike in DA, DR for employees, pensioners

The Pema Khandu Government has announced 11 per cent hike in Dearness Allowance (DA) and Dearness Relief (DR) for the State Government employees and State Government pensioners/family pensioners respectively, effective from July 1, 2021. The revised DA and DR benefits will extend to around 70,000 State Government regular employees, including All India Service Officers, and 30,000 pensioners. Meanwhile, Various employees Association of Arunachal Pradesh on behalf of serving Govt employees and pensioners conveyed their thankfulness to State Govt for releasing the much-awaited DA & DR despite facing financial hardships due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
