Tripura: TTDC set a record of self-reliance

 

 

 

Great news comes for Tripura ,Tripura Tea Development Corporation (TTDC) is setting a record by moving closer to self-reliance through upgradation and improvement in quality of service and production . This has come to light in a report card of three years published by Tripura Tea Development Corporation Authority . According to the latest report of the Corporation had been in a dire economic strait three years ago during the rule of the previous left front government. At present the daily wages of the workers has risen from Rs 105.00 to Rs 131.00. Functional 54 gardens in the Tripura state there are thousands of micro tea growers who are benefiting from higher prices as the Corporation is purchasing in bulk their products.
