Arunachal Pradesh to confer 'State Democracy Award' on 15th September !

Governor BD Mishra is scheduled to confer the first ever ‘State Democracy Awards’, instituted by the State Election Commission (SEC), on 15 September to mark the International Democracy Day. The State Election Commission (SEC) is going to confer the first ever 'State Democracy Awards' on organisations and individuals, who had displayed outstanding performances during general elections of the local bodies in Arunachal Pradesh in 2020.The important events which culminate on the occasion include release of commemorative compendium, essay & painting competitions, cultural events, webinar, etc which are being organized in collaboration with Rajiv Gandhi University
