Tripura CM Ordered To Recruitment Forest Allies Before Durga Puja

The Tripura government has given priority to creating employment opportunities based on forest resources. Chief Minister Biplab Kumar Deb has given priority to creating livelihood as well as employment opportunities for the people based on the forest resources of the state. Chief Minister asked the Forest Department to take necessary steps to appoint about 1100 to 1200 more forest allies before the upcoming Durga Puja. The Chief Minister also said that besides forestry, employment opportunities dependent on forest resources should be created. He advised the department to take initiative on whether self-help groups could be involved in increasing the productivity of forest resources.
