Nagaland First State To Implement Health Benefit Package 2.1 !

Nagaland is the first State in the country to implement Health Benefit Package 2.1 under Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Arogya Yojana that includes organ transplant.Under the Ayushman Bharat- Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY), beneficiaries from Nagaland has availed benefits of 20,000 hospitalisation to a tune of Rs 26 Crore.Till date, 2.6 lakh e-cards have been issued under the scheme and approximately 20,000 patients requiring hospitalisation have been covered at a total cost of over Rs 26 crore. For Nagaland, a total of 2.6 lakh e-cards have been issued, a total of 41% of the targeted families. The state aims to achieve 70% coverage by March 2022 under Ayushman Aapke Dwar initiative.
