BJP MP again exposed PFI link ! BJP MP Dilip Saikia said that At Gorukhuti, we have observed a pattern similar to the PFI's way of functioning. The outfit aims to only create unrest. Popular Front of India an Islamist organization already has rolled out an ambitious plan to extend its reach to more areas in Assam. Earlier, Popular Front of India (PFI) and the Maoists were involved in the violent incidents happened in the state during the anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests. Few years ago, PFI's state president Animul Haque and the press secretary of the organisation Muzamil Haque were arrested from PFI's Guwahati office at Hatigaon. Its optimism in Assam stems from the quick success it has achieved in less than five years–as many as 19,000 of its functionaries are active across 21 districts of the state.
