Manipur : CM N Biren Singh Announces INR 2.8 crore IAS scholarship

 

 

Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh officially announced Super IAS 500, a scholarship programme for deserving and talented IAS aspirants of Manipur at a function held at the Chief Minister’s Secretariat in Imphal. The scholarship worth INR 2.8 crore for face-to-face IAS coaching had been taken up under Chief Minister’s scholarship scheme for civil services aspirants. Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Singh expressed satisfaction on the selection of six candidates from the state in the civil service cxamination, 2020, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission. He also informed that the government was planning to construct a permanent complex with hostel accommodation for conducting coaching classes for UPSC examinations.
